By the way, I don't claim to be a particularly smart guy; I'm just a musician with some opinions. If you disagree with me, that's cool -- but then, you're probably wrong.
Click the headline for a short, incisive New Yorker piece by George Packer, in which he addresses the alarming ugliness, racism, fear and xenophobia the McCain/Palin ticket is instilling in their constituency lately. This stuff is no joke. The clip below shows it all in lurid living color.
Update: McCain is attempting to rein it in a bit.
